Petra, Wadi Rum, The Dead Sea, Jerash, Amman, Ajloun, Karak, Dana, Aqaba, Madaba, and Mount Nebo will be visited on this trip. On this trip, you will have the opportunity to experience Jordan’s rich cultural heritage as well as its spectacular scenery.

Jordan The Petra Tour will take you to the beautifully preserved northern city of Jerash; the biblical site of Mount Nebo; Petra (the city carved into sandstone that has been lost to the outside world and recently added to the New Seven Wonders of the World), Wadi Rum, and the magical waters of the Dead Sea.

Petra (Visit) - Wadi Rum Camp

Breakfast at the hotel. Classic full day visit of the Nabatean red rose city of Petra, where the movie Indiana Jones was filmed. Petra one of the Seven Wonders of the World, carved out of rock over 2000 years Aug. We will access the city through its entrance (Siq) of 1.2 kilometers from there we continue to reach the impressive monumental Treasury (El Khazneh) which was believed to hold countless treasures. The first view of the “Khazneh” is breath-taking. Other monuments we can see are the Theatre, the Byzantine Church, and the Royal Tombs. (Climbing up to the monastery is on behalf of the clients, without guide). Transfer to Wadi Rum dinner and overnight at the camp.

Explore Wadi Rum and return back to Aqaba Hotel

After breakfast Transfer to the desert of Wadi Rum, one of the scenes from the film Lawrence of Arabia and The Martian by Mat Damon, also one of the most spectacular settings in the Middle East. This is a red desert sand on which granite mountains rise and peaks of red and gold colors penetrate the scenery. (Classic tour by 4x4 of approximately 2 hours). Proceed to Aqaba for dinner and overnight at the Hotel

Cost Includes

  • Transfers as per the mentioned program in air-conditioned deluxe tourist transportation according to the number of participants with one checked in luggage and one handbag per client with English Speaking Driver throughout the program.
  • Visits as mentioned in the program with entrance fees.
    • The entrance of Petra includes the horse ride for 800 meters before the gorge (siq). Please note that there are not plenty of horses in Petra, as such it is on first come first serve basis. Carriages or Golf Carts are available from the Visitors’ Center until the Treasury and the Royal Tombs or Basin Restaurant, by request with a supplement. The priority is for elders and clients with special needs.
    • Price of Horse Carriage up to 2 clients, price of carriage per way including tip:
    • Classic visit of Petra till the Royal Tombs as the guide does not climb the monastery with the passengers according to the Jordanian Guide Association.
    • The visit of Wadi Rum if included is of 2 hours and in local jeeps 4 x 4. For longer visits please consult us.
  • Assistance at (Airport) (Day 1).
  • Local English-Speaking licensed guide in Petra.
  • Mentioned hotels on Half Board basis (Breakfast and Dinner at hotel without drinks): 1 Night Petra, 1 Night Wadi Rum, 2 Nights Aqaba and 1 Night Dead Sea
  • Free Visa Exemption Service, if full program including accommodation is booked.

Cost Exclude

  • Jordanian Visa:
    • Visa Price (40 JOD approximately 60 USD) per person for single entry, for non-restricted nationalities with valid passport minimum 6 months. Direct payment upon arrival by the client to the local authorities in cash in local currency. Price subject to change by the government without prior notice. This amount is not paid if free visa procedure applies for individuals or groups (collective visa); clients do not pay 40 JOD approximately 60 USD per person.
    • Free entry visa is obtained for all clients entering Jordan with a minimum 2 nights stay and more (48 hours and more). Kindly send us copy of clients’ passports 7 days prior to arrival. This is subject to change by government without prior notice.
    • The following nationalities do not pay visa: Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, South Africa, and Turkey. Subject to change by government without prior notice.
    • Entrance from Aqaba Port clients do not pay visa, subject to government change.
  • Jordanian Exit Fees:
    • From Jordan Airports (Amman Queen Alia International Airport or Aqaba King Hussein Airport): 30 JOD approximately 45 USD per person usually included in the air ticket for regular flights subject to change.
    • From All Borders and Port of Aqaba: 10 JOD approximately 15 USD per person. Direct payment by the client to the local authorities in cash and in local currency subject to change.
  • Any type of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and water.
  • Any type of meals other than the ones mentioned in the price includes.
  • Any type of tips (guide, driver, representative, horse boy in Petra, Wadi Rum driver etc.).

It is a common cultural practice in the tourism industry to pay tips to the guides, drivers, representatives, porters, waiters, horse or camel person, and jeep driver. In the restaurants it is advisable to leave a 10% tip for the waiters. The recommended tip for the guide is 3 - 5 USD per person per day and for the driver is 2 - 3 USD per person per day.

Cancelation Policy:

All cancelation must be made by sending an email. The cancelation fees vary according to how many days prior to the departure the cancelation is made:

  • 45 days prior to departure date: 15 % of the total holiday cost
  • Between 44 – 30 days prior to departure date: 35 % of the total holiday cost
  • Between 29 – 17 days prior to departure date: 50 % of the total holiday cost
  • Less than 16 days prior to departure and after the departure date in case of no show: 100 % of the total holiday cost

VISA INFORMATION AND TRAVEL INSURANCE:

  • It is the responsibility of the clients to have all their travel documents in order: passport, visa, and any other requirements needed by the immigration authorities of each country according to their nationality.
  • We recommend consulting the destination embassies at your country of origin with regards to visa information and entry requirements. We also recommend clients to bring their own personal travel insurance.

Travel Advice:

Jordan entry regulations are changing frequently. Make sure to review the following requirements for most recent information before you travel.


Before you travel:

  • All Passengers are required to visit https://www.visitjordan.gov.jo portal prior to departure, complete the required form, and obtain the QR code which is mandatory to be presented prior to boarding and upon arrival.
  • All Passengers must have a negative PCR test conducted within 72 hours prior to departure from the first boarded flight (Egypt, Turkey, Iraq only PCR tests from approved labs should be accepted).
  • Children under the age of 5 years are exempted.
  • Proof of health insurance is mandatory for non-Jordanians. Medical Tourism Patients are exempted.
  • Submit Passenger Health Declaration and Indemnity Online Filling Form or by Downloading the form before boarding.

VISA and Exit Fees

  • Exit fees are not paid if clients leave the county from Jordanian Airports (Amman Queen Alia International Airport or Aqaba King Hussein Airport) and are included in air ticket for regular flights. For charter flights please consult the charter operator if such fees are included.
  • We can proceed with free collective visa for non-restricted nationality entering and exiting Jordan together (same arrival and departure details) for programs of 2 nights (48 hours) or more. Passport details should be sent 15 days prior to clients’ arrival. Otherwise clients pay visa  upon arrival.
    • For clientes wth arrival from Arava Border, we can proceed with special entry permission without paying visa of Jordan if you send us full passport details in manifest form 21 days prior arrival for a program of minimum 48 hours stay in Jordan. If the program is less than 2 days and / or does not include Petra visit kindly consult us.
    • Details needed: First Name, Last Name, Passport Number, Issue Date, Expiry Date, Date of Birth, Nationality, and Profession in Excel form.
    • Collective visa subject to change by government without prior notice. That is if govenement cancels the collective visa all clients groups as well as indivuduals will have to pay visa fees upon arrival.
  • Visa  law subject to change without prior notice arrival with a tourist program from ZTT:
    • For individuals’ arrival Queen Alia International Airport Amman visa fees are exempted if they stay in Jordan more the (48 hours). Passport details needed in Excel form as following: First Name, Last Name, Passport Number, Issue Date, Expiry Date, Date of Birth, Nationality, and Profession.
    • For individuals arrival from Sheikh Hussein Border the new visa price is 10 JOD aproximately 15 USD per person.
  • For restricted nationalities (for example Philippines and Pakistan) we can proceed with a special permission for groups of minimum 5 or more adults (18+) years entering and exiting Jordan together (same arrival and departure details) if passport details are sent 30 days prior to group’s arrival subject to aproval by the government. For Individual Special Permission by request. You can consult our web site for a list of nationalities or by petition.
  • Free policy does not apply for individuals.
  • All regulations of borders and airport are subject to change by the government without prior notice.

PCR test is mandatory upon arrival:

  • - PCR test is mandatory upon arrival for all passengers and each passenger has to register and pay amount of 20 JOD through the https://www.visitjordan.gov.jo portal.
  • - Children under the age of 5 years are exempted.

Important Note

  • We will do our best to guarantee a non-paid booking, but prices are subject to change based on availability at the time of booking, and if drastic changes occur like currency fluctuation (current exchange rate used), tax change, or change of suppliers’ price etc.
  • Quotes are based on standard rooms; if higher room category is required please consult us.
  • Please inform clients’ nationality at time of proceeding with reservation. If the clients bring with them the Jordanian visa in their passports from their country of origin please inform us prior to arrival.
  • For Booking Guarantee: To proceed with the booking, please send full details: names, dates, arrival, and departure details.
  • Cut off dates, deposit date, and date for tentative and final rooming list will be informed accordingly by our Reservations Department with the confirmation details.
  • In hotels usually, the breakfast and the dinner are buffet at the main restaurant, except if low occupancy it would be seated set menu. All type of water and drinks are not included.
  • Petra Kitchen or Beit Sitti Amman, live cooking experience is by request, please note they are not always operational, as it is subject to the number of participants booked.
  • Lunches are not included, if clients are interested in local meal experiences by request, or are available in destination.
  • Normal check - in time at the hotels in Amman is between 23 noon and 14 hours. Normal check - out time is at 12 noon, as per hotel policy.
  • Normal check - in time in the hotels in the Dead Sea and Aqaba is at 15 - 16 hours and normal check - out time at 12 noon, as per hotel policy.
  • For arrival to hotel after 22 hours the first night is without dinner, and the price does not change, since the last dinner service at the hotel’s main restaurant is at 22 hours.
  • Late check - out is according hotels availability the same day.
  • Wadi Rum overnight is in basic bedding Bedouin tents with private bathroom and air condition including using all the facilities inside the camp. Basic breakfast and dinner included at the main Bedouin camp to experiment the life of the Bedouins.
