Enjoy hiking through some isolated communities on Rainbow Mountain (VINICUNCA), where you may interact with locals who are still preserving their culture. The Rainbow Mountain journey includes fauna such as condors, vicunas, and chinchillas. The colorful sandstone mountains of the Vinicunca region are possibly the greatest thing you’ll see in Peru.

Arrival in Lima.

Upon arrival in Lima, reception and transfer to the selected hotel and overnight.

Fly from Lima to Juliaca-Puno

After an early breakfast, there is a scheduled transfer from the hotel to the airport to take the flight to Puno. Upon arriving at Puno, there is a reception and transfer to the selected hotel.

Puno/Uros islands + Taquile island

After breakfast, there is a tour of the National Reserve of Titicaca for a visit to the Uros “floating islands”. These are a group of more than 40 islands made of piles of “Totora” reeds. Although the Uros people on the island have intermarried with the Aymara and no pure Uros exists, they continue living as their ancestors practising some of the Uro traditions. The islanders fish, hunt birds and graze cattle on the islets.

Puno/Cusco

At the scheduled time, it starts the trip to Cusco in private service. On the way, there are several stops to visit the Andahuaylillas’ Chapel and different archaeological sites like: the Racchi’s temple, La Raya and Pukara. A buffet lunch is provided in the village of Sicuani. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to the selected hotel for overnight.

Cusco/Wayllabamba – Inka trek 4/3

After an early breakfasts, the tour starts with a three hour bus ride through the Sacred Valley to Km 82 (54.68 mile post) at 2,750 m.s.n.m (9,022 ft.) From this point starts approximately a five hour hike through the Sacred Valley along the Urubamba river to reach the campsite in Wuayllabamba at 3,600 m.s.l. (9,842 ft.). Lunch and dinner are provided.

Wayllabamba/Warmiwañusca/Pacaymayo

After breakfast, departure for Warmiwañusca Pass 4,200 ms.l. ( 13,779 ft ) to enjoy the panoramic view of the Peruvian Andes. Afterwards the trail heads down to the second camp site in Pacay 3,600 m.s.l. (11,811 fts). Total hiking time is approximately six to seven hours. Lunch and dinner are provided.

Pacaymayo/Puyupatamarca/Wiñaywayna

After breakfast, departure for Warmiwañusca Pass 4,200 ms.l. ( 13,779 ft ) to enjoy the panoramic view of the Peruvian Andes. Wiñaywayna/Machu Picchu – Huaynapicchu/Cusco

After an early breakfast, the hike starts at 5:30 A.M. to see the sunrise at Intipunko or “Sun Gate”. Arriving at Machu Picchu around 8:00A.M. for a two-hour guided tour. After the tour, climb up the Huayna Picchu mountain. At the scheduled time, began the descent to Aguas Calientes in a shuttle bus for lunch and to take the train back to Cusco and to your hotel. Lunch is included.

Cusco – Rainbow Mountain

A fantastic day tour (with trekking) to the so-called 7 Color Mountain, leaving from Cusco. Located in southern Peru, in the Cusco region, this route will take you through stunning landscapes with glaciers, snowcapped mountains and crystal clear rivers and lakes. Pass by local villages of Quechua descendants and explore the breathtaking surrounding nature. The colours of the Rainbow Mountain will leave you speechless. You will be picked up from your accommodation at around 3.00 am and start making your way first to Arco (on the route to Puno) eventually getting to the Checacupe district (2 hour journey). Then we will continue to Pitumarca and a number of small villages till we reach the community of Hanchipata-Quesuno (another 1.5 hours). From here we start our hike. We will be able to enjoy the view of numerous mountains around as well as of the Ausangate glacier, and we will be able to witness up close the local wildlife and camelids in their natural environment. The trek lasts for about 3 hours until we get to the stunning landscape of Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountains). Here we will have about one hour to relax and take amazing pictures of this natural wonder. We then hike back to the starting point of the trek, and from there return to Cusco (arriving at approximately 19.00).

Cusco/Lima

After an early breakfast, there is a scheduled transfer from the hotel to the airport to take the flight to Lima. Upon arriving at Lima, there is a reception and transfer to the selected hotel, evening we will take you for culture show and dinner.

After breakfast, a scheduled transfer from the hotel to the airport for the return flight.
