This unique 21 days adventure in Nepal combines the two most famous trekking regions being it the Everest and Annapurna’s. In both these regions, we will trek utilizing comfortable lodge-based tea houses for accommodation. The Annapurna’s and Fishtail with their colorful villages and terrace farming, rich forests and rushing mountain streams offer an interesting contrast to the higher Everest region which is home to the Buddhist culture and inhabited by the Sherpa’s.

After breakfast, start the trekking following the trail ascending towards Jorsale crossing the suspension bridges over Doudh Koshi River and get the entrance gate on National Park. Afterwards crossing three more bridges the trail ascends through the Alpine and Rhododendron jungle. Today’s walk is the steep one. Walk to Phunki Thenga for lunch. After lunch the trail steeply ascends toward Thyangboche through the same kind of jungle watching birds, animals and beautiful views of Mt. Numbur (6959 m). Upon arrival at Thyangboche, visit Thyangboche monastery. The main monastery burned down a few years ago and a new one has been built very recently.

We visited Nepal again in October 2017 for a second time for the Everest Base Camp trek. Our first visit was in Octber 2016 for the Annapurna Base Camp trek. Both the treks were managed and planned by Rajan at Earthbound Expeditions. The Everest Base Camp trek was incredible with beautiful landscape and stunning views of snow capped mountains. An amazing and memorable experience of a life time, especially views from Kala Patthar and Everest Base Camp. Many Many thanks to Rajan for all the assistance and personal involvement right from planning till the end of the trek. Really appreciate the promptness, patience together with excellent level of service and personal care. It was a pleasure interacting with Rajan throughout. We also had excellent support from our guide Narayan and our ever smiling porter Sherpa. Their tremendous patience, support and caring attitude was of great help to us throughout the trek. Hats off to Rajan and team once again for a wonderful job. We definitely look forward to our next visit to Nepal and our obvious choice will be Rajan at Earthbound Expeditions.
